Hey i'm Natalie
I've been a bridal makeup artist for 15 years.
I've had the beautiful weddings, the awkward bridal trials, the fully booked seasons,
the quiet ones, the brides who taught me something, the mistakes when I dropped the ball that taught me even more; and about 400 different versions of what a bride means when she says “natural” 😂
I've learnt how much of this career happens outside of the makeup chair, too.
The enquiries. The pricing. The content. The confidence. The boundaries. The mindset. The brides. The business. Motherhood. ..and then eventually working out what you actually want your version of success to look like.
Somewhere along the way, I started teaching other makeup artists everything I was learning.
That was nearly seven years ago.
Since then, I've taught complete beginners, working makeup artists, bridal specialists and women who've simply found themselves at that “right.. what the f*ck do I do next?” stage of their career that we alllll get to! 😂
I've watched the women I've taught go from never having worked professionally as a makeup artist to building careers of their own. I've helped established artists look at their work, their pricing, their content and their businesses differently.
The longer I've taught, the more convinced I've become that the best bridal education can't just teach you makeup. Because the makeup is only one part of sometimes, a lonely solo career.
The Bridal Academy is everything I think we should have had around us all along.

Or you can want to build something brilliant ten miles from your front door.
You can want to educate, grow a team and build something huge.
Or you can decide that being a bloody brilliant makeup artist is enough.
I don't get to decide what success looks like for you.
and neither does Instagram.
The job of The Bridal Academy isn't to hand you somebody else's blueprint.
It's to give you the education, support, people and opportunities to build yours.
For your work. For her work. For different ambitions, different careers and different versions of success.
The Bridal Academy is being built for the whole bridal makeup artist; not just the part of her holding the brushes. 🦢
Because I don't want The Bridal Academy to be somewhere you log into.
I want it to be somewhere you belong.
